Playlists for The Dr. Demento Show

These "plain vanilla" playlists, without the links to expanded info, are provided for backwards compatibility. Most people will prefer to use the expanded playlists.

All dates listed here are Sundays and refer to the syndicated version of the show. If your area aired the show on a different day, the Sunday following that day will probably get you the correct playlist.

The playlist is normally posted Saturday morning. If you would like to receive an e-mail copy of the playlist as soon as it is available, you may subscribe to the mailing list by sending an e-mail message to jbmorris@dmdb.org with subscribe playlists as the subject line. In the body of the message, enter the exact e-mail address to which the playlists should be sent. (No scrambled "spam-proof" addresses, please.) Also, be sure that the e-mail address you entered is not preventing incoming e-mail from the above address.

If you wish to unsubscribe from the mailing list, please send an e-mail message to jbmorris@dmdb.org with unsubscribe playlists as the subject line. In the body of the message, enter the exact e-mail address you wish to unsubscribe.

Each time you subscribe or unsubscribe, you should receive a confirmation message within 24 hours. If you do not, please try your request again.

The spellings on the playlists are determined by cross-referencing several people's record collections, reference books, and extensive library catalogs. Here is a bibliography of some of the books we use the verify artists, titles, and spellings. We try to get these as accurate as possible, but if you do find mistakes, please let us know.

So far, all syndicated playlists (July, 1974 to present) are available. I hope in the future to have all live playlists entered as well. If you have live playlists from 1970-1973, or syndicated lists from the summer of 1975 or 1978 (where there are a couple of mysteries), please contact me at the address above.
