The Dr. Demento Show #74-1 (on KZOK) - February 3, 1974 (8p-12m)

NOTE: This was the first Dr. Demento Show on KZOK in Seattle, WA. It was essentially a recreation of the KMET show from January 27, 1974, with some changes to make the show more appropriate for the Seattle audience. KZOK carried the 4-hour Dr. Demento Show through September, and then switched to carrying the regular 2-hour syndicated show.
NOTE: Most 4-hour shows sent to KZOK were edited versions of the KMET broadcast from the week before, with some minor changes, but this first one was a complete re-recording, probably due to the KMET aircheck not being of good enough sound quality.
NOTE: This was the first Dr. Demento Show recorded with the Jon Schwartz version of "Pico And Sepulveda" used as the opening and closing theme. This remained the theme until July when the Roto Rooter Good Time Christmas Band version became the opening theme, and that version is still in use today.
