The Dr. Demento Show (live on KPPC) - June 6, 1971 (9p-11p)

Doctor's Note: Here is one of my early live shows, one of the earlier ones I did on my own after six months of guest appearances with KPPC's Steven Segal (aka the Obscene Steven Clean).

In the early days, my show did not focus specifically on comedy and novelty records, but on a wide variety of curiosities and rarities from my collection. As time went on, the show evolved toward its familiar focus on funny music.

For authenticity, we have presented this show complete with the original commercials, many of them produced by KPPC staffers, some read "live" by myself.
